The Weeks Events
Now that I'm basically meningitis free... I can do things :)
Thursday:
We went out to the Pita Pit for dinner :) mmm. I got a falafel pita (haha I got lots of crap from my roommates for picking falafel... they think I eat weird). Then we went to something called pond skimming!! It is where people dress up and snowboard/ski/tube into a pond and see how far across they can get. I got a video of one of the more unique attempts.

Friday:
-Went to a benifit concert for a girl who goes to school here that had a brain anurism.
-HAD A SUPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR STEPH!!! ...we also had a little water balloon fight inside... whoops. I didn't start it... I just helped fill the water balloons. It was a lot of fun.
Saturday:
-Went to the Stake Women's Conference here on campus. There were a lot cool classes that I went to. The food afterwards was DELICIOUS!!! There was this thing called frog eye salad or something. It was SO good. Why haven't I had it before?! I need to figure out the deliciousness behind it.
-At five I left little old Rexburg to go night boarding at Kelly Canyon with some friends. It was tiring but AWESOME. I jumped up and over a VAN they had in the terrain park... haha it was scary but fun.

I'M ALIVE!!!!
Well I'm beginning to agree with Forest Gump when he said "life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you are going to get."
Apperently after I chose the "go back to college" and "have fun with friends" chocolates - I picked the "meningitis" chocolate :D That is what I'm talking about. Haha not really. Meningitis is one of the most painful things I've ever experienced in my life. I never want to have a head ache like that again. Thank you all who called and talked with me and prayed for me! It really helped. I still have a bit of a head ache but mostly I'm just tired and my spine hurts. Yesterday I ventured out to do Yoga. It was hard but good. There is a class tonight but I don't want to over do it so I think I'll go tomorrow instead.
So far school has been a blast (minus the three weeks of sickness). Life here moves super quick. I'll be back home before I know it. I live with some of my best friends :) we basically laugh all day. My room roommate is from Utah and it is her first semester. Haha we have fun together. She is a crazy girl... and luckily she is messy like me. My other two roommates are from a little town in Idaho. They are pretty cool... except one gets mad because I turn the light off a lot... because I like my natural sunlight :) We live in apartments called Carriage House. One of our toilets is currently broken (luckily we have two). There is a story behind it but I'm not sure if you all would appreciate it... :)
So far classes aren't TOO bad. I really dislike my American Foundations class. We write about three papers a week. But whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?
I went to something called music outlet on Monday. It is where students get up and play music that they have writen (mostly guitar and piano players). You don't have to try out or anything, you just go up and do your thing. Well in one of the songs someone was playing a djembe which is an african drum. It sounded really really AWESOME! I think someday when I can give plasma enough or I can get a job on campus, it would be cool to get one. I'm still workin away on the guitar too :) I'm trying to write a song right now... woo hoo.
Well if you haven't been able to tell... I'm avoiding homework. It isn't that I'm not going to do it, but, after a few hours, I just need a break. I'll download pictures soon!
