Okay I'm ready for the snow to be gone now.

Nights under the stars

Lately anything exciting in my life has happened at night. Wednesday was the lunar eclipse... which was way cool to watch!! literally. That is why I hung out in the lounge for a bit and then went out to take another peek every once in a while. It was red! And it was the last lunar eclipse until 2010. Then last night after class I headed down to the Outdoor Resource Center and picked up snow shoes and went on a moonlight snowshoe trip. It was my first time :D The trail we were on was all uphill so it was quite invigorating. I kind of felt like a platypus with the big snow shoes on my feet. When we got to the top we just feel in the snow and watched the stars... the only thing missing was a fire. Coming down was the best part... it would have been better had I not been in jeans and had snow all down my pants aha.

THEN tonight I finally got to go snowboarding. If you go night skiing through the school it is only $12!!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeet deal! I hadn't been in two years but I didn't biff it too bad. I've never been at night before. It was a cool feeling to be on top of a mountain looking at the stars and I could see the temple way off in the distance. Anyway I'm super tired.... so I'll leave you with this:

I left the apartment for like five minutes to go get a movie... and I'm on my computer looking at facebook or something and all of a sudden Danielle inconspicuously asked across the table "Mary is there a secret message on your computer?" and so i look and sure enough there was that message. I'll have to track down this Daniel character.

Danielle wanted me to update... I just want to sleep

I've been wanting to do this for some time now.

So the snow in the courtyard has piled up pretty high. I'd say it's about five feet in places and having a second story right above that piled up snow is mighty tempting. Tuesday is when it all finally went down... literally.


You can't really tell but this is me doing a flip of of the second story dorms into the snow! What a rush. It was scarier than bungee jumping... I didn't even have time to scream "take that Debbie Deerwester"

Well there is more to update but my battery is about to die!
